Mrs. Carolyn A Silk, age 65, of the Hermitage Spring community, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Upton Hay Funeral Home with David McPherson officiating and interment to follow in the Tinsley Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday May 20, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

She is survived by her spouse, Houston Silk; sons, Nick (Susan) Silk, Sonny (Quiana) Silk; daughters, Suzanne Supernaw, Christina (Steven) McGee; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Meadows; brother, Bill (Denise) Copeland; sisters-in-law, Bernice Willsey, and Linda Anderson; brother-in-law, Ricky Silk; special cousin, Kathy (Ronnie) Poindexter; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn her passing.
