Mr. Carlos Paul Smith, age 78, of Moss, TN, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2019, at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home. Elijah Smith will officiate and interment will follow in the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Sunday, June 30, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, July 1, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Paul has survived 1 sister, Berlena Cook of Lebanon, TN; nieces and nephews, Cindy Northern and husband, Rick, Sandra Hemmon and husband, Gary, Rondall Wilkerson and wife, Amanda and Michael Wilkerson as well as many other family members and friends who mourn his passing.
