CELINA– Funeral Services for Bobby Joe Massingille, age 60 of Celina will be held 12:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2013 at Upton Funeral Home with Dale Reagan officiating interment to follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Overton County, TN. Visitation 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Thursday & 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday at Upton Funeral Home.

Bobby Joe Massingille passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.

Bobby Joe Massingille was born February 9, 1953 in Celina, TN to the late Joe Baker and Rosie Nell (Stephens) Massingille. He was owner of H & M Boat Repair, worked at Horse Creek Boat Dock, was a member of East 52 Fire Dept. & was a member at the West Lake Ave. Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Shoemake) Massingille of Celina, TN, daughter, Marie Harding of Alpine, TN, brother, Mitchell Massingille and wife, Donna of Celina, TN; sisters, Renita Allen of Livingston, TN & Velma Burton of Somerset, KY, grandchildren, Josh, Ashley & Brandi South & several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Larry Massingille, step-daughter, Pamela Davis, half sisters, Mary Ruth Mays, Christine Williams & Ruby Brannon; half brothers, John Isaac Massingille & Davis Massingille Jr.
