CELINA– Graveside Services for Betty Coleman, 82 of Celina will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Smith Cemetery in Monroe Co., Kentucky  with Jason Dodson officiating with interment to follow in the Smith Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Friday at Upton Funeral Home.

Betty Coleman passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2013 at her residence in Celina, Tennessee.

Betty Mayfield was born October 17, 1930 to the late Walter Edward and Alma (Dale) Mayfield. Betty married the late Robert T. "Hog Jaw" Coleman on September 02, 1949 in Glasgow, Kentucky.  Betty was a nurse's aide at the Clay County Manor in Celina for many years and a member of the Kettle Creek Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Clara Glenn Taylor, Beulah Belle Jennings, and Louise M. Kirlin, brothers: Walter Herman, William Edward, Lawrence "Blackie", and Ellis Brant Mayfield.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Roger (Vonda) Coleman – Moss, TN, daughters and sons-in-law: Diane (Chip) Isenberg – Tompkinsville, KY and Penny (Eugene) Hix – Moss, TN, 2 grandchildren: Brittany and Kelsey Hix, and 2 great-grandchildren: Kylee Brooke Hix and Kash Levi Rhoton.
