Barbara Meadows

Mrs. Barbara Meadows, age 71, of Moss, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Dale Reagan officiating and interment to follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service.

She was born on Saturday, December 4, 1954, to the late Josephine (Tinsley) and William Arthur Copeland. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her spouse, Willie (Dude) Meadows; son; and son-in-law, Tony Graves.

Barbara worked in healthcare as an LPN. Being a nurse requires compassion, dedication, and sacrifice, which in itself says so much about the kind of person she was.

She enjoyed reading, spent many hours in her Bible, traveling, loved going on trips, but she found her greatest pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Jesse Meadows (Rhonda); daughter, Sarah Graves; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; special cousin, Reba Copeland; as well as a host of friends and neighbors that will mourn her passing.
