Ms. Anita Ellen Poindexter Spears, age 58, of Celina, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home. Kenneth Beaty will officiate and interment will follow in the Lester Spears Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Friday, May 3, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home.

Anita is survived by husband, Michael Terry Spears of Celina, TN;2 daughters, Mandy Hayes and husband, Jim of Celina, TN and Kristen Smith and husband, Jeremiah of Moss, TN; 7 grandchildren, Andrew, Michael, and Cole Herrera, Sierra Hayes, and Colby, Claire and Samuel Smith; 1 sister, Debbie Grogan; 1 brother, Johnny Poindexter as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends who mourn her passing.
