Funeral Services for Mrs. Alpha Farrie Hall age 76 of Hilham, Tennessee will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Upton Funeral Home with Fred Hawkins officiating interment to follow in the McDonald Cemetery. Visitation 12:00 p.m. –9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. –11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Upton Funeral Home
Mrs. Alpha Hall passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Alpha Farrie Pennington Hall was born August 24, 1936 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Carlos and Bessie (Lynn) Pennington.
She was a homemaker and is a member of Maxwell Chapel Church of God.

She was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Joe Bob, Balus and Aaron Pennington; sisters, Francis Langford, Bertha McBride and Evelyn Boles
Mrs. Hall is survived by her lifetime companion, Willie Frank Hall of Hilham, Tennessee; son, Steven Hall of Holiday, Florida; daughter,  Shirley (Brian) McNew of Seymour, Indiana; ½ brother, Joe (Sharon) Roberts of Pulaski, Tennessee; twin sister, Alta (Joe) Southard of Hilham, Tennessee, Helen (David) Westmoreland of Celina, Tennessee, Eva Nell (Robert) Turner of Cookeville, Tennessee and Janie (Ron) Suits of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Corey McNew and Alicia Hall and great grandson, Anthony Hall

Serving as pallbearers Champ Langford, Junior Langford, Darrel Pennington, David Westmoreland Jr., Alvin Scott and Bobby Scott.

Family request in leiu of flowers memorial contributions to help with funeral expenses.
