Ms. Dorothy Mae Smith, age 81 of Celina passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN                                 

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home.  Eric Pitcock will officiate and interment will follow in the Moss Cemetery. Visitation will be at Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from, 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home.

Dorothy is survived by 2 sons Michael Smith and wife Suzanne, and Champ Smith; 2 daughters, Rhonda Bailey and husband, Steve and Lisa Smith; 2 brothers, Delbert Birdwell and wife Beatrice and Dumas Birdwell and wife Judy; 6 sisters, Elese Maggard and husband Donald, Shirley Matthews and husband Paul, Barbara Merritt and husband Jasper, Sandara Wheet and husband Johnny, Doneda Woodard and husband Ernie and Dana Henson and husband Lyndell: 8 grandchildren, Steven Bailey, Stephanie Ledbetter, Claudia West, Crystal Gore, Carla Plumlee, Shelby Davis, Dusty Smith, and Muriel Melton; and 15 great grandchildren.; as well as special extended family Bobby (Toopy), Jan, Jada, and Alec Kerr and a host of friends also mourn her passing.
