Mr. Phil Stephens passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at his residence in Moss, Tennessee.
Phil Stephens was born March 1, 1958 in Jackson County, Tennessee to the late Willie Herman and Virginia Christine (Rich) Stephens.
Phil worked as a residential carpenter and a gunsmith. He served for many years as an Election Commissioner. He enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid hunter and enjoyed hiking.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by infant Son, Cale Chantry Stephens. Phil is survived by his Wife, Bonnie A. (McLerran) Stephens; Daughter, Rita Thompson; Brother, Gary (Crys) Stephens: Sister, Melissa (Robert) Truman; Nieces & Nephews, Misty Truman, Josh Truman, Cory Stephens, Brian Thurman, Cade Truman, Justice Stephens, and Clint McLerran

She passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at her residence in Celina, TN.
She was born March 4, 1957 in Rodchester, NY to the late Malvern Willison and Joan Weber of New York, NY who survives. She was a Dental Assistant for Aspen Dental in Cookeville, TN.
She is survived locally by her husband, Robert "Bob" Bowslaugh of Celina.

The family request memorials in the form of donations to St. Jude Children Hospital. These memorials may be made at the funeral home.

Ms. Irene passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Clinton County Hospital in Albany, KY.
She was born February 19, 1922 in Monroe County, KY to the late Hunter and Ada (Crawford) Dodson. She was a homemaker and member of the Ashlock Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Milard Ray Dodson and Roy Denton Dodson, sisters, Geneva Bryan, Paula Blythe and Shelby Jean Russell.

Ola Murlene Watson was born February 10, 1921 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Millard Cordell and Delia Ann (Daniels) Watson. Ola Murlene Watson married JD Watson on July 31, 1948 he preceded her in death on September 9, 1969
Mrs. Watson was a homemaker and member of the Rock Springs Church of Christ.

Hoss retired as a crane operator from General Motors. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #669, Local 23 UAW, and South Keystone Church of Christ. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Aline Wilkerson; sons, Elbert and Cedric (Sandy) Wilkerson; brother, Earl (Jean) Wilkerson; 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Corene Smith and Dean Price. She was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

Nora Maxine Roberts passed away March 7, 2011. Ms. Roberts is preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Selma Roberts, and brother, Durell Roberts. She is survived by her sister, Betty Fay Lewis; brother, Ralph Roberts; niece, Kim Roberts; nephew, David Lewis (Dawn); great nephew, Samuel Lewis, and great nieces Ruby and Tabitha Lewis. Ms. Roberts served for decades as Executive Assistant to Lt. Gov. John S. Wilder. A life-long Democrat, she actively campaigned for party candidates throughout Tennessee, and served in various capacities on county, state, and national levels, and as a delegate to several state and national conventions. She was honored for her service by the Davidson County Democratic Women, and the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County proclaimed October 16, 2003 as “Maxine Day” in her honor. Mary Frances Smalling Napier of Celina, TN, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away on Thursday, January 6, after a brief illness. She was born July 21, 1924, in Gamaliel, KY. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joe Frank Napier; parents Bevie and Meredith Ellis Smalling; sisters Mildred Bateman, Mattie Comer and Edith Bray; brothers James Smalling, Gene Smalling and Henry Dunn; and granddaughter, Kiley Dale Wilt. Mary was the pianist and founding member of the First Baptist Church of Celina, retired Clay County Trustee's Office Assistant and ongoing treasurer of Fitzgerald Cemetery. Much gratitude is given by the many families touched by her ardent work, pride, and insistence on the highest quality of maintenance of the cemetery.
Mrs. Napier is renowned for her clever wit and contemporary spirit, open home, compassionate care-giving, dignity, grace.and beauty. She loved travel and exploration and visited throughout the fifty states and Europe. Mary meticiously served the role of family historian and gave members of her large extended family a place to call home once the physical presence of their childhood was gone. She lived to the fullest and life's amusing predicaments became folklore as she faced every challenge and opportunity with a happy-go-lucky smile and positive attitude. She will be so missed, loved, treasured and celebrated.
She is survived by two daughters Barbara Wallace and husband, Phil, of Hopkinsville, Ky; Brenda Wilt and Carlton Brown of Nashville, TN; brother, Jerry Smalling and wife, Cathy, of Decatur, IL; granddaughters Whitney Paulowsky and husband, Ryan, of Atlanta, GA, and Angela Considine and husband, Deon, of Dixon, IL; grandson Joe Carter and wife, Janice, of Midland, Texas; six great grandchildren, Mary Kiley Paulowsky, Will Paulowsky, Haley Foster, Ava Considine, Noah Considine and Jaedin Considine; and countless loving nieces and nephews.

Robert James Maywald was born August 27, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to the late George H. and Mable Rae (Pitman) Maywald.
Robert was the former owner & operator of Dale Hollow Boat Dock. He was affiliated with the Celina Church of Christ. Robert was a United States Navy WWII Veteran. Mr. Maywald was instrumental in organizing the Clay County Rescue Squad, and was Captain for many years.
His family includes daughters, Linda Thompson & husband, Danny of Westmoreland, Tennessee and Susan Stone of Louisville, Kentucky; Grandchildren, Angella Patterson, Kris Shaw, Dana Thompson, James Robert Stone and Curtis Stone & 9 Great Grandchildren.

Charles William Maxwell was born December 23, 1943 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late James amd Clara (Kerr) Maxwell.
Charles was the retired from Osh Kosh B’Gosh and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.
His family includes wife, Teresa Adams Maxwell of Celina; sons & daughters-in-law, James William &Vickie Maxwell, Wallace & Maurene Maxwell & Charles Dwayne &Janett Maxwell all of Celina; daughters & son-in-law, Vickie Ann McLerran of Hilham & Patricia Lynn (Terry) Spears of Celina; Sister, Shelia Cummins of Celina, Gail Cummins of Celina, Doris Wood of Indinapolis, Indiana, Bonnie Estes of Mt. Clyde Milton King was born October 30, 1923 in Hestand, Kentucky to the late Wayne Roy & Clio (Ford) King.
Clyde was the former President of Bank of Celina and Elder of the Celina Church of Christ. Clyde was also a Silver Beaver Boy Scouts of America.
His family includes wife, Ruth V. King of Celina; son & daughter-in-law, Joseph W. & Kay King of Celina; daughters & sons-in-law, Sandra & Kerry Eads of Celina and Donna Snow & Gerald Burnette of Celina; brother, J.D. King of Burksville, Kentucky; sisters & brother-in-law, Martha & Willard Brown of Cookeville, Tennessee and Inell hix of Rock Hill, South Carolina; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.

Elizabeth was the former owner of Cedar Hill Resort and attended the Celina Methodist Church.

(Dicky) & Ann Roberts, Raymond & Susanne Roberts, Roger H. & Pat Roberts and Ronald & Peggy Roberts all of Celina, Tennessee; sister, Ruth Ann Begley of Arizona; grandchildren, Andrea Hull, Greg Roberts, Alison Cooper, Rhonda Hamilton, Jeff Roberts, Brooke Burchett, Matt Roberts, Jon Roberts, Amelia Roberts & Richard Roberts and 25 great grandchildren

Virginia Annette Pedigo Ervin passed suddenly at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee October 31, 2010 after a long battle with Sarcoidosis. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Cook Pedigo and her father, Alvis Ray Pedigo. She is survived by her husband, Robert Elwood Ervin of Celina; daughter, Jessica Lynne McDuffee of Lynchburg, TN.; sisters, Pat (Jack) Davis of Hermitage Spgs., TN.; Janet (Jerry) McCarter of Smithville, TN., Deborah Brandon of Gamaliel, KY.; brother, Mike (Angela) Pedigo of Red Boiling Spgs., TN. and host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Annette, as she was known to all, operated Celina Flowers and Gifts on East Lake Ave in Celina, TN. and most recently assisted her husband in their State Farm insurance agency in Cookeville, TN. She enjoyed traveling and the company of her family and three dogs. Recently she enjoyed staying at their other home in Lynchburg, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family request contribution be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society. Donation can be made at the Funeral Home.

Mary Katherine was born April 7, 1938 in Celina, Tennessee to the late Hershell and Beulah (Rich) McClain.
Her family includes daughter, Paula Crowder; brothers, R.T., Donald, and Kenneth McClain; sisters, Wilma Gilpatrick, Jean Rodgers, Faye Riley, Bonnie boles and Sue Sherrell; grandchildren, B.J. Thompson Jr., Trae Crowder, Paige Crowder and Kenny Ray Huddleston; great grandchildren, Thomas James, Katelyn, Bradley and Marinda Thompson and great nephew, Buddy Sherrell the dog.
