He was an LPN and was an affiliated with the Joy Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lucian Sexton, grandmother, Oval Asberry and step-grandfather, Glynn ìTinyî Brown. He is survived by his Parents, Danny Joe Sexton of Mt. Juliet and Peggy Ann (Asberry) Sexton of McCormick Ridge, Whitleyville; sons, Riley, Brett & Trey Sexton all of Carthage, brother, Greg Sexton of Chattanooga, grandmother, Dovie Sexton of Red Boiling Springs  and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tamara Ann Head passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.
Tamara Ann Head was born July 9, 1998 in Glasgow, Kentucky to Derek Christopher and Sherry Marie (Adams) Head. She was preceded in death by brother, Adam Christopher Head, grandfather, Charles Thomas Adams, great-grandmother, Olene (White) Adams.
Tamara was a Hermitage Springs School Student and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

Mr. Robert Daniels passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at his residence in Gainesboro, TN.

Robert Lee Daniels was born March 19, 1943 in Celina, TN to the late Carvel Leslie and Ida Irine (Grogan) Daniels. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Joe Edward Daniels.

He had worked for Frito-Lay and a mechanic for auto parts factory and was affiliated with the Church of Christ

He is survived by his sons, Carvel (Jennifer) Daniels of Gainesboro, TN, Robert Lynn Daniels & Paul Leslie Daniels both of Indianapolis, IN

Daughters, Brenda Lee Combs of Indianapolis, In

Betty Joyce Dodson was born April 21, 1937 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Dalice H. and Alice Ruby (Birdwell) Brady.
She was a retired machine operator for Osh Kosh BíGosh and is affiliated with the Union Hill Church of Christ.
Mrs. Dodson is survived by her husband, Donald Dodson of Hermitage Springs Community; Son, Curtis Eugene (Julie Dee) Dodson of Lebanon, Tennessee; Sisters, Wilma (Melvin) Reecer of Indianapolis, Indiana and Janice (Paul) Rhoton of Nashville, Tennessee; 2 Grandchildren, Candace Renae and Corinne Nicole Dodson

Robert Matthew ìJohnî Teeples, 86

Teeples, Robert Matthew ìJohnî ñ age 86 of Celina, TN passed away on June 5th, 2012 due to complications of heart disease. After serving in the Navy in World War II, he graduated Tennessee Tech University with a degree in Biology. He was a retired teacher, coach, and principal with the Clay County School System. He was also a retired agent with State Farm Insurance. Over the years he served on various community boards and committees. He was a member of the Celina Lionís Club and the American Legion. He was a former Clay County Commissioner and an active member of the Celina United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ruth (Langford) Teeples; brothers Walter Sidwell and Pete Teeples and sister Jean Dillon. He is survived by his only son Dr. Pat Teeples of Crossville; Sister-in-law Mary Sue and husband Dave Stooksbury of Franklin; Sister-in-law Eddie Mae Williams of Glasgow, KY; Sister-in-law Fayne Teeples of Madison; and 8 nephews and 4 nieces.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 9pm Thursday, June 7th and prior to the funeral service at 11 Am on Friday June 8th both at the Celina United Methodist Church. Services will be officiated by Bro. Keith Long. Pallbearers will be former member of Coach Teeples athletic teams. Internment with be in the Fitzgerald Cemetery in Celina.

Frankie Estelle Brown Johnson was born November 6, 1929 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Lemuel Ethridge and Aria Brown. She married Mayford Johnson February 2, 1948, who preceded her in death August 17, 2009.
She was a realtor and a member of Fountain Square Church of Christ
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her children, Brenda Lackey and Michael Johnson

She is survived by her grandson, Kevin (Kelly) Lackey and great-grandson, Aaron Lackey all of Greenwood, IN.

Tommy Lee Tipton, Sr., 53 years old of Celina, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at his home.
He was born November 29, 1958 in Caraway, Arkansas, son of the late Cecil Tipton and Wanda (Hafford) Tipton Keeling.
Surviving are his mother, Wanda Keeling of LaPorte; wife, Karen C. Tipton of Celina, TN.; his sons, Tommy Lee Tipton, Jr. of LaPorte, Allen Gentry (Jeri) Tipton of Westville, IN., Cecil Tipton, Aaron Tipton, Justin Tipton all of Celina, TN., Jessica Tipton of Indianapolis, IN; nine brothers and sisters; Vickie Jean Fiore of Keil, WI., Harry (Connie) Utley of Wausaukee, WI., Ricky Tipton of Jonesboro, AK., Vickie (Wally) Wood of LaPorte, IN., Gary (Shelly) Tipton, Stillwell, IN., Benny Tipton of Walkerton, IN., Paula (Rusty) Fritz of Plainfield, IN., Cecil E. (Tracy) Tipton of LaPorte, IN., Patricia (Creig) Smith of Hudson Lake, IN; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Trenton, Destiny, Gentry, Samantha, Lolo Savannah (Lulu), Ava, and Isaiah; and many nieces and nephews.

Terry G. Likens was born October 13, 1962 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Lester Royce Likens and Margie Henson who survives and lives in the Hermitage Spring Community of Clay County.
His other survivors include, sister, Meschelle (Likens) Russell of Tompkinsville KY, brothers, Neal and Kerry Likens of the Union Hill Community.

Olyne Hogan was born October 18, 1912 in Willow Grove, Tennessee to the late Brinkley M. and Cora Alice (Hogan) Hogan. She was married to Millard Green Gates on April 15, 1939, who preceded her in death on January 17, 1985.
She was a retired Teacher for the Clay County School System, where she worked for 40 years and was a member of the Celina Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Nard Hogan and sister, Opal Fritts.
Ms. Olyne is survived by her daughter Mrs. Shirley (Bill) Bartlett of Springfield, Tennessee; 2 Grandchildren, Dana (Mark) Kimberlin of Kingston, Tennessee and Wm ìSonnyî (Claire) Bartlett of Roseville, California; 3 Great grandchildren, Emmerson Kingston, Alex Bartlett, & Amelia Bartlett.

Joe Herbert Stephens, Jr. was born March 30, 1972 in Celina, TN to the late Joe Herbert Stephens Sr. and Nelda Francis (Maines) Stephens who survives. Joe married Elizabeth Pansa on November 1, 2008.

He was a field representative for State Farm Insurance and was a member of the Rock Springs Church of Christ

Hubert Lee Lancaster was born July 24, 1929 in Jackson County, Tennessee to the late William Lee and Roxie B. (Trobaugh) Lancaster.
Hubert was retired from Goodyear Rubber Company in Akron, Ohio and was a member of the Germany Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Hobert Lancaster, Herbert Lancaster and Donald Lancaster; Sisters, Hazel Crowder, Elise Campbell and Hettie Collins.

G. C. Ruch was born February 4, 1938 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Grover and Minnie (Thacker) Rush. He was preceded in death by an infant sister. G.C. married Bernice Watson on August 1, 1964.
Mr. Rush was retired from the Clay County Highway Department and was an Army Veteran.

Mr. Shirley Edward ìBusterî Jones passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Parkridge East Hospital in Chatanooga, Tennessee. The Maryville, TN native was born December 11, 1944 to the late Shirley Houston and Alberta (Lequire) Jones, he married Peggy Jean Spear October 18, 1968, who preceded him in death May 25, 2004 and Phyllis Branham of Chattanooga, TN February 1, 2008 who survives. Other than his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel H. Jones.

He was retired from the Nashville District, Corps of Engineers as Superintendent of the Dale Hollow Powerhouse and was a member and current minister of the Cave Springs Church of Christ. Hoss retired as a crane operator from General Motors. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #669, Local 23 UAW, and South Keystone Church of Christ. Andrew Demis Beasley was born January 17, 1929 in Oakley, Tennessee to Willie Herman and Haley Evelyn (Green) Beasley. Andrew Demis Beasley married Doris Lorene (Scott) Beasley on March 4, 1949. He was a retired supervisor for Osh-Kosh.
He is survived by Wife, Doris Beasley of Celina; Son, Mike Beasley and Wife, Mica of Livingston; Daughters, Wanda Denton and Husband, Ricky of Celina, Shirley Cherry and Husband, Travis of Moss and Irene White and Husband, Eddie of Celina; Brother, Frank Beasley of Moss; 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren

Frances Pennington Langford was born December 25, 1931 in Clay County, Tennessee to Carlos and Bessie (Lynn) Pennington. Frances Pennington married Cecil Langford February 6, 1948. She was a retired employee from Osh-Kosh where she worked 40 years and member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ at Baptist Ridge.
