Mr. Tim Anderson, age 75, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. He was born in Moss, TN to the late Monte and Dana Netherton Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a 1972 graduate of MTSU’s business school. He owned and operated Tim’s Barber Shop in LaVergne for over 40 years. Mr. Anderson worked for Schmiede Tennessee Machinery as a machinery salesman. He enjoyed reading the Bible, blue grass music, and engaging others in conversation. Mr. Anderson was a faithful member of Smyrna Church of Christ and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Shirley Anderson; children, Joey Watson and his wife Clair of Sanford, NC and Tish Dunn and her husband Marc of Brentwood, TN; brother, Leroy Anderson of Tipton, IN; sisters, Betty Boren of Celina, TN, Ann Anderson and her husband Larry Hand of Celina, and Nettie Davis and her husband Benny of Gallatin, TN; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren with one on the way. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ray Anderson.

Visitation with the family will take place Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00am until 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 2017 at 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bill Davis and David Henderson will officiate. Burial will take place Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 12noon in Moore Cemetery near Moss, TN.
