Jake Proffitt

Mr. Jake Proffitt age 75 of the Pea Ridge Community of Clay County, TN passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Robert Roberts officiating and Cremation to follow. Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home.

Jake is survived by his devoted wife, Roberta Proffitt of the Pea Ridge Community of Clay County, TN; 2 sons, Delbert Proffitt and wife, Sharon of Batesburg, SC and Mark Proffitt and wife, Kelly of Celina, TN; 2 brothers, Jimmy Proffitt of the Pea Ridge Community of Clay County, TN and Earl Proffitt and wife, Glenda of London KY; 1 sister, Hazel Hammons of London, KY; 12 grandchildren, Bryan, Zach, Kali, Allyssa, Seth, Harley, Lane, Kailee, Andrew, Morgan, Tristin and Baleigh; 10 great-grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends who also mourn his passing.
