Mr. Eugene Boles, age 87 of Celina, TN died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Eugene was born on Dry Creek in Clay County, TN on October 1, 1928.  Throughout his life he was first a loving husband, father, and friend who served in many roles including maintenance with the Clay County Board of Education from which he retired. He  was preceded in death by his parents, Clure and Mary Ada (Williams) Boles and siblings.

Eugene is survived by his Wife, Eleen Boles, Sons, Clifton Eugene Boles and companion, Barbara, Timmy Martin Boles and James Lovell Boles all of Celina, TN, 1 daughter, Jeanie Ruth (Boles) Lemons and husband Bill of Kingston, TN, 1 brother, Eldon Boles of Frankfort, IN, 7 grandchildren, Tiffany Strong and husband, Daniel, Timeka Garrison and husband, Colby, Trent Boles and wife, Allie, Vann Lemons, Justin Boles and Jamie Boles, and Ella Lemons, 4 great- grandchildren, Haylen, Fletcher, Harper Gene and Bryce. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home.  

Funeral Services for Eugene Boles will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2016 at Upton-Hay Funeral Home. Kenny Westmoreland will officiate and interment will follow in the Turkeytown Cemetery in Clay County, TN.
