Mr. Cecil Thomas Anderson, better known as Chin, age 75 of Celina, TN passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home. Willie Kerr will officiate and interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be at Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home.

Chin was born Wednesday, April 30, 1941 in Celina, TN to Burley Thomas and Ada Olyne (Gray) Anderson. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Ann Thompson. Throughout his life Chin served in many roles but being a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend was especially important to him.  He was the Sheriff, a school bus driver and a farmer for most of his life. Chin was a faithful Christian and a member of the Church of Christ.

Chin is survived by his Companion, Ruby Nell Key of Burkesville, KY; 1 brother, Mitchell Anderson and wife, Martha of Baxter, TN; 2 sisters, Alma Jean Pitts of Cookeville, TN and Alene Pitts of Lebanon, TN; several nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends also mourn his passing.
